Hi there! My name is Tracy and I am the sole proprietor of Kitty Corner Cat Sitting. An Oakland resident, I was inspired to start my business after noticing how few reliable cat sitters service the wonderful city I call home. With three special-needs cats of my own, I know first-hand how important (and difficult) it is to find reliable cat-focused care when I go on vacation. I also know how stressful it can be for a guardian to be separated from their kitty, which is why I do my best to ease your mind with daily updates.

As someone who has always had multiple feline companions throughout her life, I always enjoy making new kitty-friends, which is part of the reason why I was a volunteer at Oakland Animal Services (OAS). From 2012-2016, I helped hundreds of homeless cats adjust to shelter life so they could find their forever homes. My work at OAS also led me to foster regularly for Cat Town and Feral Change. Through fostering I have gained experience caring for elderly cats, baby kittens, cats with special medical needs, shy cats, and cats with behavioral issues. I have also learned how to administer most medications, including subcutaneous fluids.

My own cats are Monsoon, Twist, and Marigold. Monsoon was adopted as a kitten from Berkeley Humane Society; Twist is a reformed feral who took up residence in the backyard of one of my former residences; and Marigold is my one “foster fail” who I fell in love with and adopted while fostering for Cat Town.
I look forward to meeting you and your cat!
